BENETECH® TO EXHIBIT AND PRESENT AT ASME POWER SHOW IN JULY Booth Number 20 July, 2009 — Montgomery, IL — Benetech, Inc. is participating in the upcoming ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Power Show, being held at the Hyatt Regency in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from July 21-23. Chris Blazek, Vice President of Marketing, will be presenting a workshop on Coal and Biomass Fuel Quality. This workshop will address the impact of coal and biomass quality on combustion, slagging, fouling, corrosion, ash disposal, catalyst poisoning, emissions and plant performance. Understanding these issues is critical to plant availability, capacity increases, heat rate, maintenance, and costs. The workshop will focuses on end-results and application of fundamental information to minimize fuel quality impacts on operations and the environment. Various technologies, predictive techniques, and models will be reviewed that have been used to mitigate slagging/fouling and aid in the selection of fuels. The workshop will focus primarily on coal and biomass fuels, but will also briefly address other fuel types such as pet coke. The ASME Conference is intended for technical professionals who design, build, operate, overhaul and maintain power plants, or are involved in power plant and equipment research and development.
