BENETECH® SUPPORTS EARLY CAREER FORUM NEW TO ASME POWER CONFERENCE IN 2009

May, 2009 Montgomery, Il- The American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is holding its annual power conference July 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency in Albuquerque, New Mexico. New to the program this year, ASME will be sponsoring an Early Career Forum (ECF) prior to the conference.

The Early Career Forum is designed as a professional development and networking event for early career engineers (ECEs). ECEs are professionals who are thirty-five years of age or younger and have up to 10 years of work experience. At this ECF, participants will learn the resources ASME provides to ECEs, opportunities for green jobs, and techniques to maintain employability in these tough economic times.

Chris Blazek, Vice President of Marketing for Benetech, Inc. and incoming chairman for ASME, worked with the local ASME chapter in New Mexico to ensure this event took place. “Benetech understands the importance for programs such as the ECF to provide support and guidance to the engineers of our future”, said Mr. Blazek. “We are proud to be a part of this career developing opportunity.”

The Early Career Forum will take place on July 20 and will be held at the Hyatt Regency from 6pm to 9pm. To register or receive more information, please go to www.asmeconferences.org/power09.
