Benetech to Speak at Electric Power Conference/PRB Coal Users Group

Coal Transfer Systems that Save Money,
Reduce Risk to be Presented

March, 2006, Montgomery, IL - Benetech, Inc. will be speaking at the PRB Coal Users Group annual meeting, an event co-located with the Electric Power Conference, being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from May 2 - 4. Benetech is the Grand Sponsor of the 2006 PRB Coal Users Group Annual Meeting, and a Silver Sponsor of the 2006 Electric Power Conference.

Mr. Andy Hunter, Project Manager, InteliFlo™ Transfer Systems, Mr. Ron Westfall, TDM Product Manager, and Mr. Greg Clark, Advanced Design Chute Division Manager, will be presenting "Coal Transfer Systems," and will address the rising, unpredictable expenses associated with conveying coal. They will discuss proven methods to reduce operational and maintenance costs and minimize risk.

Case studies will be presented, including PSEG Bridgeport Harbor, Xcel Energy's Arapahoe Generating Station, and FirstEnergy Lake Shore, all coal-burning stations that have improved operational efficiency while decreasing total cost of ownership through new methods that control transfer flow and minimize turbulence. They will discuss the "next generation" of transfer chutes and Benetech's InteliFlo design that delivered results never before available.

"The goal of this discussion is to help coal-fired electric plants identify transfer point vulnerabilities, remove or minimize the effect of these problems - such as dust, pluggage, spillage, and waste - and thereby improve overall plant operation," said Ron Pircon, President and CEO of Benetech, Inc. "Andy and his team will present valid cost-savings figures and performance facts that outline the clear benefits generated through this proven technology."

Benetech will also be exhibiting at the Electric Power Conference, in Booth Number 1221. Its successful coal-transfer system, InteliFlo, will be highlighted.

The Coal Transfer Systems discussion will be presented on May 3, from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
