Benetech Announces Appointment of Jason B. Schwartz as Director of Technology Integration

August, 2006 - Montgomery, IL - Benetech, Inc. announced the appointment of Jason B. Schwartz as Director of Technology Integration. Mr. Schwartz' responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of all Benetech strategic partnerships, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) promotion, and Benetech's InteliFloTM market exposure. He will work directly with Benetech Product Managers, Account Executives and customers to fulfill his mission of maintaining and strengthening Benetech's market position.

“Jason's extensive experience in risk evaluation and technology packaging will help ensure that Benetech is positioned for continued growth in our dynamic industry,” said Ron Pircon, President and CEO of Benetech. “In addition, his strong proven track record in project closure, focused on value-adding initiatives, will serve us well in our business development efforts.”

Mr. Schwartz has held previous positions in engineering and project management, including Director of Engineering at Air Control Science, and President of Acensium, Inc., a fire protection and risk management company. He has been responsible for building engineering work groups, implementing Discrete Element Modeling in chute work design, and business development in the risk management industry.

Mr. Schwartz holds a BSME degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Years of commitment and relationships within the coal-fired utility industry have enabled Benetech to address the needs and concerns of coal yard supervisors, maintenance managers and operations engineers. Benetech works closely with utility plants to recommend and develop ways to reduce Operations and Maintenance costs while providing a full range of products and services relating to the safe storage, transfer and processing of coal.
