September, 2005, Montgomery, IL - Benetech has announced the addition of a new Project and Purchasing Manager. Gene Howard will be responsible for evaluating and implementing appropriate project procedures, building and fostering new and existing supplier relationships, and establishing effective controls for project and manpower scheduling.

Mr. Howard comes to Benetech, Inc. with over 15 years of experience in purchasing/materials management; supply chain management; plant management; quality control; inventory control; MRP; maintenance/facilities; and manufacturing. His responsibilities will include contract administration; negotiations; vendor sourcing and auditing; productivity increases; quality improvements; and multi-plant cost reductions.

Mr. Howard most recently served as General Manager for TR Hodges, Inc. of Wheatfield, Indiana. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business.
